Hi! I’m Robin Riddle, originally from Liverpool, England, and now based in New York City. After nearly 20 years in the U.S. and a career in London, I founded Content Connection to offer my content marketing expertise in a flexible, affordable way. With over two decades of experience working for major media companies and specialist agencies, I provide the same high-quality service without the drawn-out processes of traditional agencies. No long RFPs or complicated onboarding—just fast, tailored services when you need them.

20+ Years of Content Marketing Experience

I’ve spent more than 20 years leading and executing content marketing programs, including running content studios at The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, Time Inc., Meredith, and Dotdash. My experience spans B2B and B2C programs across industries like tech, healthcare, finance, retail, consulting, insurance, and travel. I’m confident I can help your content program deliver stronger ROI.

I hold a Master’s in Marketing from Sheffield University and certificates in Digital Marketing from Cornell, SEO from Moz, and Marketing Automation for Pardot.

From Hands-On to Strategic Leadership

I’ve been involved in every phase of content marketing—from pitching ideas to managing on-boarding, developing strategies, creating content, and analyzing performance. I’ve also led creative, editorial, and account teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Outside of Work

When I’m not working on content marketing programs, I have more than a mild interest in food—both cooking it myself and finding great restaurants to try. Some of my favorite places to eat are here in NYC such as the Bombay Bistro in the West Village and Kochi an incredible Korean place with a Michelin Star in MIdtown. I’m also passionate about DJing, a creative outlet I’ve enjoyed for years. Back in the day I used to play out in the clubs around Liverpool, today I’m mostly confined to my basement! I’ve a couple of Technics 1210s set up in my basement that I use to mix on vinyl and some Pioneer CDJs for digital. In case you’re interested my mixes are on my Soundcloud page, here.
